Blended course: Skills Testing

The BLS is the preferred CPR course for Healthcare Providers. The course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.


For people who completed Part 1 of AHA online course.

  • Length of Class: up to 25-35 minutes 
  • In-Person Skills Testing
  • Same Day Certification
  • Certification: Two Year Certification


Course For: certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals, anyone wanting to learn CPR


BLS Skills Testing is available Monday-Friday

First Aid is NOT included in this course, if you require First Aid in addition, you must request it at the time of scheduling

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED 

Blended Course: Skills Testing

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult and child .


For people who completed Part 1 of AHA online course.

Heartsaver First Aid 

Blended Course: Skills Testing

First Aid teaches abilities easy methods which may be life saving occasions. The course provide training for regular scenarios. Lean to take care of bloody nose, bee stings, fainting, seizures, and trauma.

For people who completed Part 1 of AHA online course.

Heartsaver CPR AED 

Blended Course: Skills Testing

The course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child, and infant CPR and use of an AED.

Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking in the responsive victim. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of three major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.


For people who completed Part 1 of AHA online course.

Instructions for taking a Skills Test

STEP 1

Please visit www.onlineaha.org, register as a new user and choose the appropriate course. (Scroll down to FIND-A-COURSE and then choose HEARTSAVER (non-medical professional) or HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL)


STEP 2

Complete the course and PRINT your Certificate of Completion (If you cannot print your certificate, please email a copy to sshc@savannahspecialtyhomecare.com)


STEP 3

To sign up for the Skills Test, please call our office at 912-659-3451 to schedule an appointment


**ALL SKILLS TEST MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE ARRIVING TO SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT**

  • Skills Test can be paid online (see above)
  • You can also pay with a MONEY ORDER made out to SAVANNAH SPECIALTY HOME CARE, LLC
